Großer Garten

The Große Garten (Great Garden) is a baroque garden in the middle of the city. You will find a beautiful baroque palace, the Botanical and Zoological Garden of Dresden as well as the Parkeisenbahn, a small railway leading through the park. Just strolling around and discovering artworks here and there is really nice.

I really love Botanical Gardens, it always feels like travelling within a very short time to many different places due to all the very different plants you see. Also, it is probably the least crowded place (except on hot summer days) in the city which can be really relaxing after being to a museum or the Old Town in general.
